Luxury yacht rental in South Florida

Yacht Rentals South Florida

Premium yacht rentals across South Florida — Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Naples, and the Florida Keys. Motor yachts, sailing yachts, and catamarans from our active fleet of broker-represented vessels.

Yacht Rentals South Florida

South Florida is the largest concentration of charter-grade yachts in the Western Hemisphere. From Fort Lauderdale's "Yachting Capital of the World" reputation to Miami's glamour and Palm Beach's old-money refinement, the region offers more diversity of vessels — and itineraries — than anywhere else on the East Coast.

YCharters works across the entire South Florida corridor. Whether you're looking for a weekend in Stuart and the Treasure Coast, a fishing-focused charter in the Florida Keys, a Palm Beach social-season programme, or a Fort Lauderdale-to-Bahamas Atlantic crossing, our broker team has the local knowledge and direct owner relationships to match the right yacht to the right trip.

Many of our South Florida yachts also offer Bahamas (Bimini, Berry Islands, Abacos, Exumas), Caribbean (BVI, Anguilla, St. Barths), and East Coast US (Charleston, Newport, the Vineyard) itineraries — particularly during seasonal repositioning periods (April–May northbound, October–November southbound) when relocation discounts of 30–50% can apply.

The Difference

Regional Coverage

Active broker access to yachts homeported in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Stuart, Naples, and the Florida Keys. One inquiry — region-wide options.

Year-Round Charter

Unlike the Mediterranean, South Florida charters operate 12 months a year. November–April is peak (warmest waters); summer months offer better availability and 20–30% lower rates.

Repositioning Bargains

Spring and fall yachts moving between East Coast and Caribbean seasons can be chartered one-way at substantial discount. We track every repo opening and surface them to you first.

Common Questions

What's the difference between a Miami and Fort Lauderdale yacht charter?

Miami is more day-charter and short-cruise oriented (Biscayne Bay, Bahamas crossings, Key Largo). Fort Lauderdale is the world's densest concentration of large charter yachts (140ft+) and the natural launchpad for Bahamas, Caribbean, and East Coast US itineraries. Pricing is roughly comparable; Fort Lauderdale tends to have slightly more inventory in the 100–200ft range.

When is the best time to charter in South Florida?

November through April offers the best weather (75–80°F water, low humidity, dry season). December and February school weeks are highest demand and price. Late April through October is hurricane season — most yachts head to New England or the Mediterranean, but inventory remains for those who want lower prices and don't mind summer heat.

Can I charter a yacht for a wedding or corporate event?

Yes — South Florida yachts host weddings, corporate events, and product launches regularly. Motor yachts in the 100–180ft range typically accommodate 30–80 guests for cocktail receptions (dockside or at anchor) and 12–18 overnight. We coordinate with event planners, caterers, and tender services. Plan 60–120 days ahead.

Do I need a license to charter a yacht?

No. All YCharters listings are "crewed charters" — captain, deck crew, chef, and interior stewards are included. You enjoy the yacht as a guest; the professional crew handles operations. Bareboat charters (you operate the yacht) are a different model and not part of our offering.
